Hello, I’m Raphael and I’m the co-founder of Enchanté Dating.
We help men develop the skills they need to attract love and provide relationship coaching for guys in Singapore.
How did you find out about Kalpha?
I was looking for ways to reach out to a wider audience and stumbled upon Kalpha!
Kalpha is an awesome platform for sharing ideas and services.
What are you sharing about on Kalpha?
Mostly relationship advice, tips, and techniques. There are many people out there who want to find a special someone but don’t know how to and I want to help them achieve that.
I specialize in helping men who have no one else to turn to for relationship issues.
Sadly, many good guys lack the ability to get a girl’s attention or to maintain their relationships. It’s especially hard for them if they don’t have friends or family members who can give them good advice, so they live rather lonely lives.
Furthermore, with COVID-19 hitting all of us, depression is a real concern. And we can all use someone who can walk through tough periods with us.
At the end of the day, I just want to help them find a special someone to spend the rest of their lives with.
What was your motivation to learn or continue learning about what you are sharing about?
I was once a lonely guy.
Experienced unrequited love at a young age and was pretty scarred by that. I didn’t know who to turn to for advice, and I was too embarrassed to seek help from family or friends.
I was shy and awkward and it took a long time of self-discovery and personal growth to become the person I am today.
Years ago, I discovered a community that helped me figure out relationships with the opposite sex. I learnt many things that can similarly help other men in need.
I like to think that I’ve distilled the most effective techniques, combined it with years of experience, to help guys get the relationships they want.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve encountered when Sharing on Kalpha?
Hmmm no one has engaged me for a sharing yet. Perhaps everyone on the platform is already well adjusted and in fulfilling relationships? 😂
Is what you’re sharing about related to your job?
Nope. I have a full-time job that’s completely unrelated actually.
This is a side passion, and a way of making a difference to other men in need. You can think of it as spearheading a men’s help movement.
How did you get into this yourself then?
When I needed help back then, I had to learn everything the hard way and depend on myself to solve my relationship problems.
It took a really long time, and even then, I required coaching to help shift my perspective and understand the dynamics of relationships.
If I can shorten the learning curve for guys out there, then that would be a real benefit. And I think I have sufficient experience in coaching guys to effectively help them achieve their goals.
What is the best thing that learning this skill or getting into this hobby has done for you?
Well it helped me find a special someone to share my life with.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced when learning this yourself?
Rejection. I faced a lot of rejection. But each rejection helps to fine tune my craft and make it better. Reflection and constant learning have helped me improve.
What is the one misconception/stereotype about this skill that people always assume?
One major misconception is that guys can use the skills they learn to manipulate women.
There might be some bad eggs out there, but we don’t endorse what they’re doing. And women are not stupid, or easily manipulated.
To what extent is it actually true?
It’s mostly untrue. It depends on your intention in learning this, and who you learn it from.
Please tell us about your experience on Kalpha so far!
Kalpha is an awesome platform! Yoshi, the administrator, is friendly and helpful too. It’s my sincere hope that more people use the platform to learn new skills and broaden their horizons.
Anything you’ve always wanted to say about yourself/job/skill that you’ve always wanted to share/say but nobody has ever asked
I would say that relationship skills can be learnt and honed over time to bring out a better you.
There is no such thing as “I’m born this way, no one will ever love me”. You must make the choice to improve yourself – physically, emotionally and mentally. I know because I’ve been there. And I’m happy to provide a guiding hand to other guys in need.
In coaching clients, I’ve found that many guys don’t fully comprehend how life changing this experience can be until they see what we can do.
We literally open their eyes to new possibilities and give them the power to change their love life.
